2017 Natural Soul Collection Shoot
Look Book Shoot for the New 2017 Collection ‘Natural Soul’
Last Wednesday, a beautifully sunny day, with cars loaded with wedding dresses, flowers, cameras and big plans, Team Felicity Cooper headed into Manchester’s artistic and historic Northern Quarter to shoot the Look Book for the 2017 Collection “Natural Soul’.
The shoot was the culmination of months of preparation and I was really excited to see it all coming together in one place and equally a bit nervous! Myself, Lucy from Lucy G Photography, Becca from Pretty Creative and Charlotte from Verity & Thyme had spent a lot of time ahead of the day discussing ideas and pinning inspiration, so on the day we knew what we wanted to achieve and we were really excited to put it all in action.
Once we were set up, the day went really smoothly, and I even managed a quick visit to the totally amazing craft shop in the Northern Quarter Fred Aldous (we needed fishing wire to hang the foliage arch), it’s well worth a visit, it’s been there since 1886!
We had a great day and I’m delighted with the images….we packed up and headed home.
As we arrived back home to where I live in Cheshire to edit the images and have a well earned glass of wine… Lucy was like “this sunlight is amazing…we should do something” So after a full day in the studio, Charlotte got back into a dress and we headed across the fields.
It was so worth it, the images turned out brilliantly! It just goes to show, sometimes the best things in life are the spontaneous moments.
